Captioning the essence of interactive text horror! Truly a great game. Taking a big inspiration from "Stories Untold", yet, making it very different and more simple. First disk was very atmospheric and the notes section of the game really changed the theme for me, personally. Production design and the plot is intriguing, although a bit improvement for the sound design is much needed. The game takes the genre seriously and I loved that about it. Looking forward to the full game. Good Job developers!
Thank you very much for the kind words, it means a lot! The game needs a lot of improvements on everything, but I am a solo developer and can't always put the time in that the game deserves. I hope you had fun trying it out and the next chapters should feel better already, as I'm always learning as I go along.
Hello again, I played the game and I enjoyed it, neat concept with interesting story, the sound effects were good as well, although if there was a bit more 'horror' going on in the room then it'd be great, and it was good that there weren't any cheap jumpscares either, looking forward to more of it, good work :)
How do I tell the character to look for the code? I typed 'look around' and then he looked around but when I type look for code or pick up code it does nothing.
When you type "look around" on the bedroom inside the cabin it tells you there is a picture near the door. Pick up the picture and you should see the code for the safe. Hope this helps you. :)
Not many. Story endings there only is one, it happens inside a cave. But the character can die before that depending on the actions you choose, which stops the story and you have to restart.
